This collar is constructed to be extremely strong and durable. Cotton and satin fabrics encase polypropylene webbing. Satin fabric is used not only for aesthetics, but protects the exposed sensitive skin under the neck of some pups. The stitching that holds the collar together is created using heavy duty nylon thread. Anywhere hardware needs to be secured in the collar, triple-stitching is used, that is, the stitch overlaps three times. This makes a very strong line of stitching.
